I feel strongly that you should have your ideas down pat. You should really know why you have everything the way you do because the first thing someone is going to do is question it – hopefully your answers are the right ones.
well, the part about the answers being the right ones is not what I meant at all. There are no right answers, seriously. You, as the creator, are and will always come from a differet perspective then the one on the other side of the table. He/She is thinking of many things –
How much will this cost? Who is this person across from me? Can they pull it off? Will he/she be bought out? Who would want to team up to make this? Will anyone? Can these characters sell products? Is there something like this already out there? Is the writing steller?
While your thoughts are more about the development of the story, the importance of the characters, the way the show is presented (animation, live action, etc). So just be able to explain WHY you answer the question the way you do.
